Inspired by one of the best-tasting fish found in Queensland waters, this piece is rooted in both memory and connection. I first tasted king salmon in Karumba - a place close to my heart from my past life on trawlers and out at sea. Paired with textured pattern and earthy tones, this artwork reflects both the beauty of the fish and the stories tied to it. A simple, grounded piece that celebrates something I truly love.
